FAQs

How do I order?

To order a cake, please get in contact via the General enquiries form or the Wedding enquiries form.

Do you provide the flowers for our cake or the florist?

I recommend to order your cake flowers and foliage through your florist, as they will be able to provide blooms in their best condition and will be in keeping with all the arrangements on the day. When the cake is delivered to the venue on the morning of your wedding I will then decorate the cake with the flowers provided. I allow 45 minutes to an hour for this in order they keep as fresh as possible.

Do you hire cake stands?

I have a small collection of cake stands to hire for £30 + £60 deposit, please enquire for images. All cake stands will need to be couriered or hand delivered back to my home address within 2 weeks of your wedding.

I have gluten intolerant and vegan guests are you able to accommodate?

I offer gluten free and vegan mini cakes in keeping with a flavour you have chosen for your main wedding cake. These are ordered in batches of 6 and are priced at £25. Please note I do not cater for celiacs.

Do you make cake samples?

I make cake samples for collections on set days throughout the year. A tasting box includes 2 x 4 flavours of your choice at the price off £30. If you would like to enquire please drop me an email.

How many guests should my cake feed?

Unless you plan to serve your cake for dessert, I would suggest you cater for around 80-90% of your guests. If you’re having a post-wedding get together, this is a great opportunity to finish off any leftovers. Alternatively, as the cakes are baked super fresh, they will freeze very well once wrapped. If you would like a bigger cake, a great tip is to provide small takeaway boxes for your guests to take a slice home.

How do I pay?

All bespoke cakes and wedding cakes are invoiced and payment is made through BACs bank transfer.
